You can’t keep hangin’ on, to all that’s dead and gone
If you built yourself a myth, you’d know just what to give
Do you lie?
Oh, let the ashes fly
Help me to make it, help me to make it
Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.
''The way of life can be free and beautiful. But we have lost the way. Greed has poisoned men's souls, has barricaded the world with hate; has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed.
We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in: machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical, our cleverness hard and unkind.
We think too much and feel too little: More than machinery we need humanity; More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness.
Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost. ''
- The Speech of the Great Dictator
You can’t keep hangin’ on, to all that’s dead and gone
If you built yourself a myth, you’d know just what to give
Do you lie?
Oh, let the ashes fly
Help me to make it, help me to make it

Gap’s been trying to climb up the industry ladder again after firing Patrick Robinson. I suppose it’s not that easy; it has been failing hard in the North American markets over the past 10 years. I even altered from being-a-fan to never-walk-in-again when I was still living in Vancouver.
But there are potentials. Never say never. Now that Gap is back to Hong Kong again, I wish this time they will market it right.

… will ich die Zeit zurückdrehen.
… will ich mit dir ein leckeres Eis gönnen.
LISTEN/// SUMMER HEART - I WANNA GO
Whatever everyone else can do musically, the Swedes can do it better. The weather may be typically grey and wet right now, but come summer time, Malmo’s Summer Heart will provide the ideal soundtrack. “I Wanna Go” is the type of song that plays in your mind as you reminisce of lazy mornings and hazy afternoons, its reverberating guitars and simple, hypnotic beat matching a perfectly sweet hook.
Colin Clark: Here’s what I remember most: her embrace. Her belief in me. And the joy she gave. That was her gift. When I think of her now, I think of that time when a dream came true. And my only talent was not to close my eyes.
And I know I gave it to you months ago
I know you’re trying to forget
But between the drinks and subtle things
The holes in my apologies
You know I’m trying hard to take it back
So if by the time the bar closes
And you feel like falling down
I’ll carry you home
Tonight
We are young
So let’s set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
than the sun
Today marks my first anniversary in Berlin. Wie schnell die Zeit vergeht! The second year shall start with a total new approach and mentality.
Make life lighter, shall we?
The Birth of a Book
This video is a true image of the craftsmanship and labour that is induced in the making of any book. The book is a beautiful object in itself, and have been explored by many, like Dieter Roth and Ed Ruscha who systematically deconstructed the form of the book. Yet “Everything in this world will one day end up in a book”, one beautiful quote by French poet Stephane Mallarme that amounts all notions of the book- in one.

And I’ve been a fool and I’ve been blind
I can never leave the past behind
I can see no way, I can see no way
I’m always dragging that horse around
All of these questions, such a mournful sound
Tonight I’m gonna bury that horse in the ground
So I like to keep my issues drawn
But it’s always darkest before the dawn
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
And it’s hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off, oh whoa

Simply beautiful, simply natural, simply Hong Kong.
The art of observation - Christophe Jacrot
Nothing is more precious than a quiet peaceful Saturday night at home. Having stressed out with the visa application, I need this quality ‘me’ time, putting together a writing portfolio, sipping some hot Rooibos while listening to the SHAME soundtrack.
Also big applaud to Steve McQueen’s astounding visual effects. SHAME is an intriguing independent film of sex addiction in which you and I could actually relate to.
Hello Easy Monday! I say it’s time to dream about hot pants, flip-flops, Open Air, music fests, frisbee in the sun and Club der Visionäre at 6am again…
